Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by Customer

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Refund eligibility:

  • 48+ hours before rental start: Full refund
  • Less than 48 hours: Partial or no refund
  • After rental start: No refund

Custom delivery scheduling fees (if applicable) may be non-refundable once confirmed.

2. No-Show Policy

Failure to:

  • Arrive during the scheduled pickup window
  • Retrieve items from an Authorized Pickup Facility
  • Accept delivery at the scheduled time

May result in forfeiture of the reservation without refund.

3. Early Returns

Returning items early does not entitle the customer to a partial refund.

4. Company-Initiated Cancellations

If ScratchandRent.com cancels a reservation due to:

  • Equipment malfunction
  • Safety concerns
  • Unavailability

A full refund will be issued.

5. Delivery Limitations

Delivery services are offered when available at the time of reservation. If delivery becomes unavailable due to:

  • Weather
  • Access issues
  • Safety concerns
  • Operational constraints

Customers may be offered:

  • Pickup at an Authorized Pickup Facility
  • Rescheduling
  • A refund at company discretion

6. Damage or Loss

Refunds will not be issued for damage, loss, or misuse of equipment.

7. Dispute Resolution

Customers agree to contact ScratchandRent.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. We maintain records of reservations, pickups, delivery confirmations, and returns to respond to disputes.
